Vietnam is emerging as Asia’s next Trade and Investment hub – driven by 7% GDP growth, surging exports, record FDIs, expanding FTAs, competitive costs and the regionalisation of Asian trade.
At the same time, a powerful growth belt is taking shape in the south. Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta have formed an integrated economic powerhouse that contributes more than half of national GDP and is rapidly becoming a major hub for food processing, electronics, logistics and agri-tech.
For companies in food, agriculture, agri-tech, FMCG, packaging and supporting industries, this is a rare window: costs remain competitive, infrastructure is accelerating, and early movers are securing the best locations and partners.
Leading investors from Singapore and China are already expanding. Early movers are shaping Vietnam’s future Vietnam’s economic.
Don’t miss Asia’s next growth hotspot.
Why enterprises should explore the Vietnam Southern Corridor – and Why Now?
The Southern Corridor brings together three complementary strengths:
- Ho Chi Minh City –Vietnam’s economic powerhouse that is fast becoming South East Asia’s next finance, trade, investment and technology hub.
- Can Tho City –The heart of the Mekong Delta, a centrally governed city and hub for food innovation and regional logistics.
- Mekong Delta & surrounding provinces –Vietnam’s agricultural powerhouse, producing 50% of rice, 70% of fruit, and 60% of seafood exports.

At the same time, Vietnam is accelerating: exports are growing, FDI is hitting new records, and major infrastructure projects – expressways, deep-sea ports, logistics hubs, new international airports – are rapidly shortening transport time and cost. For manufacturers and brand owners, this means:
- Better supply chain resilience and diversification
- Stronger cost advantages in land, labour and logistics
- Direct access to regional trade routes across ASEAN and into China
From 2025–2027, many of these mega-projects will be completed. As industrial clusters become more integrated and land prices rise, it will be harder – and more expensive – to secure prime locations and the best incentive packages. This program is designed for companies that want to move before that tipping point.
